The Blood Red Fire Shrimp (Lysmata Debelius) is also known as Blood Shrimp, Fire Shrimp, or Scarlet Cleaner Shrimp. The Fire Shrimp is one of the most popular shrimp in the hobby since it is a great way to add some BRIGHT colorful life to your reef! These majestic creatures will also clean and remove dead tissue and parasites from fish, just like the Cleaner Shrimp. They will also scavenge the rock and substrate for meaty bits of food such as mysis and brine shrimp.

Tank Size: A tank size of 20 gallons is recommended.
Water Parameters: Maintain a temperature of 72-78°F (22-26°C), a pH level between 8.1-8.4, and a specific gravity of 1.024-1.026.
Feeding: Fire Shrimp are carnivores and will eat meaty foods such as mysis and brine shrimp.
Compatibility: Fire Shrimp are peaceful and compatible with Reef Safe Fish and Inverts but avoid keeping them with large predatory species that can eat them.
