THE BEST WAY TO FIGHT AIPTASIA!!!
 
The Peppermint Shrimp (Lysmata Wiedemann) is most sought after for its efficiency in managing nuisance Aiptasia, or glass anemones. It is recommended to purchase 3 or more if your goal is to control the aiptsia in your aquarium as some will naturally be less interested in the Aiptasia and become accustomed to what you regularly feed your reef. To avoid this, be sure not to overfeed the aquarium and only feed what the fish can consume, leaving nothing left for the shrimp. 
 
Approx. Purchase Size: 3/4" to 1-1/2"
Tank Size: A tank size of 20 gallons is recommended.
Water Parameters: Maintain a temperature of 72-78°F (22-26°C), a pH level between 8.1-8.4, and a specific gravity of 1.024-1.026.
Feeding: Peppermint Shrimp primarily feed on Aiptasia anemones and some meaty foods such as mysis and brine shrimp.
Compatibility: Peppermint Shrimp are peaceful and compatible with Reef Safe Fish and Inverts but avoid keeping them with large predatory species that can eat them.
